How we prepared for the trip
Europe Road Trip was just a 10 second decision. The idea of going on an unplanned (which did not turn out to be so, because of visa requirements) trip with just a couple of backpacks and a car sounded too exciting to turn down.
While Salzburg, Budapest and Prag were the main destinations we set out for, southern germany turned out to be the best part of our road trip. Archana will disagree, she liked Budapest the best for the wonderful buildings and the exquisite bridges on the River Danube.

Road Trip Prep
- Assurance that the US Drivers License works in all EU countries (it does)
- The SLR Camera (Nikon D40) and the Tripod (Some arbit pick from Walmart). Check out my 10 minute preparation in my backyard on how to use it. This gave me great confidence that we could take world class photos on the trip. Yeah, it doesn’t take too much to build self-confidence
